This clip features highlights from the A380’s February 2006 cold-weather testing in northern Canada at Iqaluit, where the Airbus 21st century flagship spent five days in temperatures as low as -30 degrees Celsius to prove full functionality of its systems under extreme weather conditions. Footage includes aircraft de-icing, engine start-up and landing gear operations tests in the freezing environment.
