Airbus presents a flight demonstration of its A310 air refuelling test bed at the 2008 Farnborough Airshow in England. This aircraft is helping qualify a new-generation aerial refuelling system for the A330-200 Multi-role Tanker Transport – the fly-by-wire Aerial Refuelling Boom System, which is being developed by Airbus parent company EADS to refuel military aircraft capable of being “topped off” while in flight.
