The second A380 – designated MSN 004 – completes its first flight on 18 October 2005 from Toulouse, France. This aircraft joins the first A380 (MSN 001) – which has now successfully completed more than 100 flights and over 350 flight hours – in the test campaign. MSN 001 will travel to Frankfurt, Germany later in the month for its first airport compatibility tests.
