Airbus expands its worldwide presence in April 2008 with the inauguration of a new Material and Logistics Centre at the Dubai Airport Free Zone in the United Arab Emirates. Airbus President and Chief Executive Officer Tom Enders attends the ceremony with his Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority. The opening of this facility gives Airbus greater proximity to valuable customers and facilitates quicker responses to their needs.
