On 23 June 2009, the initial A320 produced in China – Airbus’ first aircraft ever built outside of Europe – is delivered from the Tianjin Final Assembly Line to Dragon Aviation. These ceremony highlights include remarks by Airbus President and Chief Executive Officer Tom Enders and an unveiling of the aircraft, to be operated by Sichuan Airlines.
