Airbus delivered its 5,000th aircraft – an A330-200 – to Qantas on 14 December 2007. This video clip highlights the milestone jetliner’s delivery ceremony, and includes remarks from Airbus President and CEO Tom Enders and John Borguetti, Executive General Manager of Qantas. This milestone 5,000th aircraft utilized an eco-efficient two-coat aircraft painting process that uses less paint, requires less time to apply and helps reduce cleaning.
