During Airbus’ press conference at the 2010 Singapore Airshow, President and CEO Tom Enders underscored the company’s continued commitment to serving its growing Asia-Pacific customer base. With the region accounting for approximately one-fourth of the nearly 9,500 total orders booked by Airbus to date, Enders said the company is supplying its aircraft to a broad range of customers – from full-service airlines and the increasingly important low-cost carriers to cargo operators and leasing companies.
