Airbus officially unveiled the A350 XWB Final Assembly Line during a special inauguration ceremony held 23 October 2012. Located near its Toulouse, France headquarters, Airbus introduced many environmental advances at this site – making it the “greenest” such facility ever built by the company. This video clip includes highlights from the event, with comments from President and CEO Fabrice Brégier, Chief Operating Officer Günter Butschek, A350 XWB programme head Didier Evrard, and Airbus pioneer and founding father, Roger Béteille – whom the facility was named after.
